Our Irish Moiled Beef Mince is a real family favourite, packed full of flavour.

We hang our wild venison for a month and meticulously seam out each muscle, this means when you come to cook your mince, it wont shrink in the pan and will retain all of the delicious flavour we have worked hard to create. A great stand-by to have in the freezer. Venison is leaner than beef and makes great homemade burgers. Useful for ragu, lasagne, cottage pie, chilli con carne, gamekeepers pie and hand made burgers. For wild cottage pie use venison instead of beef and enjoy an earthier, hearty dish.

Cooking method: Chop onions finely and soften in olive oil. Add mince and brown, turning constantly. Add good quality stock, bring to the boil and simmer until cooked. Serve with creamy mashed potatoes.

Storage: Your meat will arrive frozen. We believe freezing is natures best way of being able to store delicious, wholesome food while cutting down on food waste. We freeze our meat at the perfect moment to capture the most intense flavour.  We dry hang our meat on the bone to draw out any moisture so your meat is just as good from frozen as it would be fresh. This means you can simply take the amount you need and you never have to waste anything.  To defrost the pack, just drop the unopened thick protective vacuum pack in cool water and it will thaw in about 30 minutes, making it very convenient to store and cook with plenty of flexibility. We recommend you store your mince in the freezer.  Once defrosted you should cook the mince within 12 hours.
